Help me find a cute practical beach cover up

I’ve been looking for one for years. I want it to be pretty and summery and modest, yes, and short sleeved (I get hot on the beach) and flowy too. It can be gauzy but not too transparent, and should ideally somewhat disguise the fact that my bathing suits are mostly dark/navy underneath. It needs to pass muster at the occasional nice resort but also at the crummy pool club where I hang with my kids. I like the boho block printed ones for looks alone.
But here’s the main thing — I need this sucker to be practical. It will be shoved into the bottom of a God forsaken beach bag for days at time. It will be wiped with substances including sunscreen and ketchup. It will come into contact with much chlorinated water. It will be washed, but not all the time, and never ironed. It’s needs to be comfy, sturdy and easy to get on and off. Ideas? Thank you so much. |

| I have a ton of cover-ups, most of which I’ve bought at consignment stores. The ones that fit best with what you’re looking for are a Sand & Sable coverup that’s light but not see-through, and hits about at the knee, so maybe check out that brand. I also have one I picked up at a Vineyard Vines outlet that’s some sort of “performance” fabric that dries quickly. |

I have a couple of these and use them both as swimsuit cover ups and around the house. Super comfortable and cute, but I’m not sure if there are any patterns you’d like. I have two solid colors. They’re indestructible. |
