This D&B commercial song comes on. I recognize the song but not sure.
It's a lovely song. "10,000 days with all weather leather" Shazam tells me the song and artist is French, by Franz Gordon titled "Une Histoire D'Amour." That's also the French title of the theme song from the 1970s movie "Love Story " I am still not convinced this is a new song. I keep searching. Then I remember hearing it from the soundtrack to the 1983 movie "Brainstorm." This was "Michael's Gift to Karen," a romantic montage scene between characters played by the late Natalie Wood and Christopher Walken. That song was composed by James Horner and recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra for the soundtrack. I forgot that James Horner was killed in a fiery plane crash in California that caused a 1 acre fire. The song is really one of the most beautiful I have ever heard. It doesn't sound like it was composed in 1983. Ever go down a rabbit hole to find a song you can't get out of your head? |
| It's lovely. Makes me want to watch that movie -- but then I just think of the whole Natalie Wood / Chris Walken was-she-murdered thing. This film must have been when they met. |
The movie makes me think of virtual reality and high tech. |
