Websites to find single moms for shared housing

Anonymous
I would love to find a single mom and a child around my child's age to rent the house I own as long as there isn't any crazy ex in the picture. It wouldn't be a shared home as I own it, but I'm sure there are moms out there that would love to share a single-family house with another single mom and pay rent. Does anyone know if there is a website to look for potential housemates like this? When I look online it's all singles without kids.

I saw someone in the Arlington Neighbors Helping Neighbors group looking for this. Maybe that was you! But if not, you could look there.

I'm OP and just happened to have received the house as part of the settlement which is in a popular area and it's in a nice area. I would be looking to rent it out just like other singles do with some private and some shared spaces. I just would prefer to rent to another single mom and child. I do need to rent the house in order to pay the mortgage and other expenses but have a boring job, no one wants to see me strip sadly including my ex, but the only reason money is tight is that previously we were both contributing to the mortgage.

Meant to say and it's in a good school district. Didn't mean to repeat myself.

I guess I was assuming another mom might want to do this for a year or two while they save up some money. I wasn't thinking someone would want to share a house for decades.

Thanks. Not in Arlington but will check it out. I worked hard to get the house in the settlement so don't plan on sharing the ownership with anyone else, but it's a big enough house where some of it could be separated such as having their own bathroom and living room as well as two private bedrooms. There is only one kitchen and laundry area though.

I'm seeking this. I haven't listed myself on co-Abode, but have a fantastic kiddo and would like to share with someone else. No ex in the picture at all. No crazy dating either, it's just wholesome fun for us! If you're still looking at this thread, let me know and I can talk. Would love to be moved by March.

Just coming back to see this. Where do you post for housing now and where are you wanting to live?
