I’m thinking of buying a 2025 RAV4 XLE Premium. Has anyone bought one ( or similar model) lately? I see Toyotathon is going on and wonder is people are paying less than MSRP.
Have you driven one? Ride is rough and too stiff in my opinion.
I love my 22 rav4 prime. Not a recent purchase, but I don’t think a lot has chanted, if anything. Great handling, pickup space for our family, visibility and safety rating. I got it during the supply crunch, so can’t speak to pricing now.
We loved our 2013 RAV4 limited (gas model) and expected to replace it in 2023 with the same newer RAV but Hybrid just to feel like we were keeping w the times; but couldn't justify paying 42k+ for a car that barely looked updated in all that time. The dash board was a very chintsy vinyl/plastic and it overall drove clunky, whereas Toyota Venza and Bz4x (new EV) had much more stylish interiors w nicer materials at same price point and better fuel economy/extremely smooth rides. Hopefully it's gotten a refresh in 2025 and feels like a better value and smoother ride. I'm curious about the new Toyota crown SUV at same price point (hybrid).
We were similarly disappointed with the RAV 4. I’ve mostly driven Toyotas. But ended up with a Subaru Forester and am happy with it so far.
Test drove RAV4 and Highlander and despite hoping I'd like the RAV4 enough to buy it and keep the price down, I went with the Highlander because the driving experience was so much better.
I took a Uber ride the other day and it was a 2017 RAV4. I asked the driver how many miles he had on it. He said 351,000.
