I needed something that was a little step up that would hold my whole foot safely but was not as tall as a stair.
I was perplexed, then suddenly I realized: Riverside Shakespeare would be perfect. Thank goodness I kept that sucker! https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=31073893776 |
| My mom, an English major and Shakespeare lover, would have loved this story. She died just before Thanksgiving. But you are making me smile thinking about her, so thank you. |

Aww, I still have mine, and I don’t think I could ever step on it! I do have bad knees and might have to have surgery some day, so we’ll see…
Best wishes for a quick recovery, OP! |
Oh my gosh, I have that too!! lol |
| I have both a bad knee and that exact book. I’ll have to keep this in mind. |
| This post is why I love DCUM in a nutshell. |
| I use mine as a step into the car for my elderly mom. Perfect size. Also thankful I kept it! |
Amazing! |
Aw, sorry you're going through the holidays without her! |
Thank you! It was from Junior year of course, and tucked inside was the note that I had a care package from home to pick up. I hope you don't have to have surgery! |
| AP exam prep books are great for adjusting the height of computer monitors. |
Oh gosh. Memories of lugging that book up the biggest hill on campus by bike and then up to the top floor for my class…! I guess it was a great book for knees even when I didn’t need it
Thanks for prompting fond memories, OP! |
My core "kids these days are soft!" example is lugging that book around! (In jest!) |
| Why on Earth did you feel the desire to share this here? This has zero to do with health, Op. |
| I think it was in off topic first and got moved. |
