Food gift in DC for retiree, any ideas!

My amazing mentor is retiring and I already sent her flowers I’d like to send her a “sweet start of an adventure” type basket this weekend. Something like charcuterie but breads and cookies any restaurants in the DC or NOVA area that do this? She’s fancy and would appreciate lovely presentation.
I was thinking Olivia Macaron or Laduree but seems too boring. Maybe a basket from breadfurst but seems too doughy. I haven’t been in DC for a few years welcome input! |
