| Going on a road trip and need some book recommendations. Prefer fiction for this one. I don't even know where to start picking, preferably funny. Maybe Long Island or the first book Brooklyn? Maybe something else? Nothing too heavy. No sci-fi, no horror stuff, no bloody murder stuff. Just something to keep us entertained on a road trip. |

| Not funny or light but Lincoln Highway would be great. |
While both are excellent books, neither Brooklyn nor Long Island are light, funny novels. |

I’ve Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella
Can You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella |
| Kids in the car? No Colm Toibin. |
| The Wind in the Willows - beautiful book, absolutely lovely to listen to and child friendly. |
| Everyone in my family has killed someone followed by everyone on this train is a suspect. It’s very light detective fiction with a good narrator and it’s a fun whodunnit. |
