Road Trip Book Rec

Going on a road trip and need some book recommendations. Prefer fiction for this one. I don't even know where to start picking, preferably funny. Maybe Long Island or the first book Brooklyn? Maybe something else? Nothing too heavy. No sci-fi, no horror stuff, no bloody murder stuff. Just something to keep us entertained on a road trip.

Not funny or light but Lincoln Highway would be great.

While both are excellent books, neither Brooklyn nor Long Island are light, funny novels.

Kids in the car? No Colm Toibin.

The Wind in the Willows - beautiful book, absolutely lovely to listen to and child friendly.

Everyone in my family has killed someone followed by everyone on this train is a suspect. It’s very light detective fiction with a good narrator and it’s a fun whodunnit.
