How much clearance do you have behind your treadmill?

| How much clearance do you have behind your treadmill? I see 6 feet listed for some. Do you have that much? What about those with small spaces? |

| Our treadmill is next to a wall in the basement. And we have a few feet of Clarence behind it will then have a weight bench. But I often move the weight bench when I'm on the treadmill and then I have a good 6 feet behind me. |

| About 4 feet, I think. My treadmill also said to give 6 feet of clearance and I do have space for it, but not in the direction I wanted to orient the treadmill. It’s been fine. I dislike speed work on treadmills, and without that, I feel the likelihood of falling off is very low for me. |

| If I close my door, it’s about 3 feet but I try to keep it open. |

| 3-4 feet, but less than what's recommended for our treadmill I think. It could be more but then the treadmill would be really close to the tv. |
