Indoor activities, last minute, with kids in NYC

DH and I were supposed to go to NYC this weekend without kids. Now it's a family trip due to childcare falling though.
Any ideas on what to do?? Broadway shows all seem to cost upward of $600, and we've been to the Museum of Natural History - would love other ideas!

How old are your kids? The Math Museum is great for elementary school kids. And my 9 year old was way more into the Met than I thought he would be.

I saw this, and it was wonderful! They are doing a lot of specials right now with the show closing next week.

I would also suggest Tenement Museum, doing a cooking class, getting dim sum, trying out a few pizza places, going to the Nutcracker ballet.
