Can someone explain why the Episcopal is so popular?

This school appears to be quite new and has gained a lot of attention on the forum. I'm not religious, so could someone explain the reasons for its popularity from a non-religious perspective? For example, is it due to its mission or the quality of its facilities?

I am referring to the episcopal preschool (according to the forum: T0: episcopal and 92Y)

Are we talking about the preschool? If so, it not "quite new," it has been around for over 60 years.

OK. Then if I correct this, is there a specific reason for Episcopal's popularity? Thanks!

Large numbers of Episcopal/92y kids move on to desirable k-8 and k-12 schools. This is partly because they enroll tons of kids with sibling/legacy status at these schools. Exactly how much this explains is the stuff of endless debate.

The manner the school presents itself gives the impression of prestige and exclusivity. There is an elegancy in the way they talk about a child's development, community, and doesn't openly market their exmissions.

They educate the whole child.

Does anyone have actual specific exmissions data for top tier schools, Episcopal or otherwise? Hard to find actual numbers vs qualitative “they place well”

I have only seen Montclare publish exmissions data at a granular level, and it's a few years outdated. All I have heard about Episcopal is that its filled with celebs and donors so normies have a very hard time competing for TT.

PCDS has their newsletter accessible to the general public - check the March issues every year for exmissions info.

No they indoctrinate

Religion is not education

Does anyone have exmissions insight? It’s clear that they place well but any recent examples?
