Small DC City Car

Anonymous
I currently own a 2016 volkswagen golf with 86k miles. The oil pressure is giving me problems, so I am looking at a new car.

I need a good small city car. Ilmy only stipulation is are heated seats and a good sound system. What would you recommend?

“Heated seats” , “sound system” and “small city car” are not playing well together.

Get an electric, at least if you access to charging. Depending on the range you need you could get a good deal on a used leaf for example.

?? You can get heated seats and a decent soundsystem in most small cars.

OP, we have a Subaru Impreza at the highest trim level (the RS) and are very happy with it. Heated seats, sun roof, zoned sound, plus it came with good quality floor mats and a retractable cover for the trunk space. Very easy to park in DC-- we have to parallel park on a daily basis and it gives us no problems. Highly recommend.

OP, how many miles per year will you be driving?

It would have to be used, since they've stupidly stopped making them foe US market, but Honda Fit. We love ours.

Do you have somewhere to charge or a parking spaCe? We got a box ix and it’s great. It actually pulls into our patio where a pour previous car didn’t fit.

I bought one of these for my kid, and I LOVE that little car. It handles like a go cart. Not fast at all, but WOW can you throw it into a corner at-speed!
