Anyone know any gay friendly obgyns in VA (Alexandria, Arlington area)?

Not sure what you mean but my practice Bannon, Armstrong, Lawson are awesome, kind people and I think any expecting family would be thrilled with them. 703-748-9880--Good luck

I had a bad experience at Bannon, et. al... They were very dismissive of my partner and me when we came in to talk about insemination procedures. They ignored her entirely, gave me a gruff nurse who asked, "Where's your husband?" and then when I returned for paperwork, they gave me a barely legible copy. Many of my straight friends go there and have a great experience, though.

SERIOUSLY, though, I have a 7 month old son, lovingly delivered by Rieter, Hill, Johnson and Nevin in Falls Church. They deliver in DC, so if you have a partner, the both of you can be on the child's birth certificate. I was given great attention, lots of care and support. I worked mainly with Dr. Jackson, Dr. Engel, Dr. Osmun and Dr. Johnson. Muffi King is a great nurse practicioner, too. The experience with them was wonderful-- my partner was always included and our pregnancy was celebrated. Even the front desk staff was wonderful. The only drawback I can say is that Dr. Reiter himself wasn't very friendly, but everyone else was beyond amazing. We ended up having a c-section with Dr. Johnson, who was awesome. I can't give you enough rave reviews about them. Sincerely--if you're attempting to get pregnant or already are, they're the best OBGYNs for the job.

(If you're looking to get pregnant, I recommend Dr. Nancy Durso, who was at Metro Fertility, but is now at Washington Fertility Clinic, I think...?)
