What’s a failing grade in MCPS?

Is the lowest you can get while still passing a D or a C?

It's a D. Only an E doesn't get credit.

A 59.6 is passing

Pretty sure you can still pass with a D (at least 59.6 percent), C is still satisfactory credit but E is considered to be the only failing grade.

This is all certainly true, but given the rampant grade inflation, if your kid is getting less than a B+ in even the most advanced classes, you should be concerned.

A lot of teacher stopped grade inflation. Ours all did.
