Missing Birth Control Pill Beginning IVF

I have started my 2nd week of BC pills and forgot to take one on Thursday. Friday morning I took it right away and then the Friday pill Friday night. On Saturday I started bleeding. Did I just mess up my IVF cycle due to missing 1 pill? I'm still taking the BC pills but worried that I have just pushed all the planning back to next month since I'm starting. Any information you can give me would be great.

Call your nurse/REs office and explain what happened. It's likely not a big deal, but they can tell you for sure if it's a problem. Good luck.

Thanks! I'm bummed it happened over the holiday...the office isn't open for calls just monitoring.

Which RE do you see? There is usually a way to leave a message over the weekend even if the clinic is open for monitoring only. If you go to SG, then call the main number in Rockville (301-340-1188) first thing this AM, choose the option for the nurses line (or something like that), leave a message, and you will get a return call. If you go to another clinic, then I can't help but do believe they all have a similar process for weekend calls. Good luck!
