I bought a filet of raw salmon, sliced it and ate it with soy sauce. Probably 1000 calories. NO regrets

Lots of scallops. DH hates the smell of cooked scallops, so if he's not home, I'll make them. Also an extra cheesy lasagna.

When I'm gone, DH makes food that's extra spicy. His tolerance is much higher than mine.

I don't think it is safe, unless it is sushi grade.

How is this 1000 calories?

I eat all the stuff I love but other people get grumbly about, like mushrooms.

I eat all the foods I don't like for my kids to eat. Things I ate all the time growing up: hot dogs or beanie weenies, fried bologna sandwiches, Little Debbie cakes, salmon cakes with boxed mac & cheese and canned peas (my favorite meal as a kid). I also sometimes indulge in a deep-dish/pan crust pizza.

Not a fresh veggie or salad in sight, baby!

I love to eat cheese and crackers for dinner. Maybe add some cured meats or olives or something, but maybe not. Girl Dinner!

Don't love admitting this, but: I order pizza.

If I'm in a bad way I might buy really expensive chocolate from that place in Tysons that sells bark for like $30 a pound or something ridiculous like that and eat it with a glass of wine.

+1 They aren't even searing it in olive oil or something.

Sushi grade isn't really a thing.

I go to a sushi restaurant, or whatever strikes the mood, by myself.

Salmon for sushi is different.
