food delivery

Anonymous
We have two young children (4 years and nine months) who have various food allergies, and we are finding ourselves running to multiple supermarkets for specific items. We'd like to have a bit of help, just have someone who could take a list and run to the store for us. (we are interested in Whole Foods, My Organic Market, Harris Teeter, Trader Joe's). Does anyone know how I could find someone to do that? Do I need to worry about insurance, any other legal issues?

If you live out in "mall mentality" Loudoun County as one previous poster unkindly put it, Harris Teeter has an online ordering and pickup program which has saved time and money for me and my family. I am unsure if closer-in NoVA offers this (e.g. the Ballston-area Harris Teeter).

I would not get involved with an errands/PA service for grocery shopping IMO. Too much room for error.
