AP Anthropology vs IB Anthropology

There are two different IB courses: Geography or Social Anthropology. |

| OP the AP Human Geography is a fluff course, not considered particularly academically rigorous. |

My kid is doing IB Anthropology and I'm impressed. It's a pretty serious course and seems quite rigorous.
Can't compare to AP. If Human Geography is the closest counterpart to the IB Anthro course, then IB beats AP by a mile. |
