Thoughts on Saturday School?

What are your thoughts on Saturday School for elementary school students as a way to stay on track? Children are performing well but we are looking for support academically to be sure they stay ahead. Thank you

That's not who it is for. It's for kids who are seriously falling behind, so they can catch up.

And then parents will be complaining when teachers don't have the time to specifically differentiate for a problem they created. Let kid be and let them work on something else.

We used Saturday school. It’s for kids who need help to stay at grade level or aren’t reaching grade level. They focus on English and Math. And the kids really like it.

This. If your kid is doing fine, skip it.
