The current format works fine with the iPhone and, I assume, Android phones. I also know we have a lot of Blackberry users. So, I don't have planes to make a mobile version of the website. I have given some thought to an iPhone app, but no immediate plans to create one. I'd have to hire a programmer which I'm not that eager to do.

I've been reading DCUM on three different iPhones over the past three years. I've never experienced any problem viewing the site on an iPhone. I can't imagine why the last two posters are having issues.

I'm one of the prior posters...I can certainly get by using my iPhone, but the way that the ads load on the right-hand side is definitely a PITA. Since it sounds like you are looking for feedback (I think?), here's how it plays out for me on my phone...
I'm going to have to test with my phone again, but I don't think it works quite like that. One thing I notice is that you have not upgraded to iOS 4 yet. You might want to consider doing that. However, I don't think it would necessarily change how the page loads.

Okay, I just tested this on my iPhone. I followed the same steps shown above. The ad in the right column does load last and the topic listings do get compressed to make room for the column. But, this happens so fast on my phone that there is not even time to blink before the lines get compressed. That's why I hadn't noticed it. I even turned off wifi and tested using 3G and it was the same. There is no time to click on a topic before it gets wrapped.
The other thing I noticed is that I expand the page in order to click on the Recent Topics link. As a result, when the Recent Topics start to load, the right column is not even visible to me. As soon as the topics wrap, I am free to click on one. That can actually be before the last ad loads.
