Okay, what are the best new Christmas songs *written and recorded* since about 2000 or so?
One of my favorites: “Candy Cane Lane” by Sia… But I’m sure there are many others. What do you like? |
| Mr Hanky The Christmas Poo |
| Definitely "Underneath the Tree" by Kelly Clarkson. I also like "Mistletoe" by Justin Bieber. |
+1 Kelly’s really sounds like classic Christmas up there with Mariah. |
Yes, this is one of the only newer Christmas songs that I enjoy! |
Mr. Hankey dates from the first season so is far older than 25 years, I’m sorry to report. |
|
Not newly written, but love the cover of "Celebrate Me Home" by Lizzy McAlpine. Kenny Loggins did it in the 70s. Her version is much better.
|
| Where Are You Christmas by Faith Hill (2000) from the Grinch movie soundtrack. |
+1 (written by Mariah Carey, who was blocked from recording it by Tommy) |
| God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen/We Three Kings- Barenaked Ladies |
|
White winter hymnal by Fleet Foxes
Carol of the bells the bird and the bee Snowman by Sia Glittery by Kacey Musgraves O Holy Night by Nina Nesbitt Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by Sam Smith Christmas always finds me by Ingrid Andress It's not Christmas till you come home Norah Jones All I want for Christmas by Wild Christmas must be tonight Bahamas |
| One More Sleep by Leona Lewis |
| Santa Claus lane - Hilary Duff |
| Valley Winter Song by Fountains of Wayne |
|
I love Taylor’s Christmas Tree Farm and I am not even a Swiftie.
Also love Norah Jones’ Christmas Calling. |
