| What are some SLACs that give a lot of merit aid? Preferably in the mid-atlantic and northeast areas. |
|
Washington College is incredibly generous
Juniata College is generous If in state for Mary Washington, they are generous for merit. |
| A lot of Catholic schools do. Loyola MD, La Salle, St Joe’s, Seton Hall, Duquesne, Manhattan, Scranton, etc |
|
Conn College
Bard College of Wooster (slightly outside if preferred geographic area) |
+1 also if OOS, St Mary's College of Maryland gives merit to match VA in-state. Roanoke Ursinus |
|
Furman
|
| St Lawrence gave my kid $40K per year. |
| Again, just a bit outside of the preferred geographic agree but Oberlin just offered my DD $36k per year. |
|
All the Ohio LACs.
Most of the PA ones except the top schools (Haverford, Strathmore) |
| Not the northeast, but a lot of pretty good LACs in Ohio & Pennsylvania give decent merit aid - Denison, Oberlin, Wooster, Dickinson, Gettysburg, etc. In the northeast, I think Conn College, Clark, & Wheaton give decent amounts too. |
