Yes, I know it's only September but I like to spread out my Christmas shopping so it's not one giant credit card bill in January.
This year is my DD's first Christmas, and I loved reading some of the threads last year about traditions that some of you have. We're thinking about adopting the idea of new pj's on Christmas Eve. So, where do I shop? Thank you! |
|
I was in Carter's today and they had a bunch of Christmas-themed kids jammies already. Did you want the parents to match too, though?

| OP here. Yes, please! I know it's corny, but since she's likely going to be an only child and we're still taking millions of photos every time she turns around, why not! |
| hanna andersson has family ones. Children's place has them too. |
| I could be snarky and say something like "1957" but I would suggest Ebay. |
Like I said, 'corny'. So "1957" would be appropriate, PP! no offense taken on this one.
Need to keep looking, though. $80 at Hanna Andersson for just my pj's is a little much! |

This is what I would do - buy one of these for yourself and DH:

| The Company Store has them too...look under Family Sleepwear. We started doing this for DS1 on his first Christmas. But it was so expensive! And he couldn't care less about pjs. |
| Im sorry but this is the cheesiest idea ever. I know im not being helpful but I cant help it. Matching pjs???? |
| I may have been the one to mention family pjs. Cheesy, yes, but even now it's something I remember vividly from my childhood. It wasn't Christmas without the pjs. Even when my sister and I got older and entered our sullen teenage angst years, the pjs cut through all that. Now that I have a family of my own, we're definitely rocking the pjs. I found that it's pretty near impossible to get exact matches, so it's easier to get close- I went to Targer last year and was able to cobble together a coordinating set. I forget what the outdoorsy brand is there, but it had pretty similar flannels in mens and womens. For baby, I found a red footie that matched. Good luck and I hope your family gets as much enjoyment out of it as mine did. |
| PP- Target. Small keyboard = bad typing. |
| Jumpin Jammerz has footie pjs for adults. Great quality. Very cheesy and cute. Not sure if they have kids or xmas theme, though. |

Before you purchase, you might want to check out this website:

| Hanna Andersson. They are pricey, but tend to be quite cute. Some of them are organic as well. |
| Childrens place has them in infants, kids and adults. They match and are available in the most awesome fleece! I LOVE EM. |
