Where to go last week in December with teens?

Without breaking the bank. Checked Mexico, Peru, Hawaii flights and prices are so high. Sydney seems reasonable if we come back after 2 weeks.

Suggestions please. Road trip in US or any other suggestions?

My family did New Orleans as a driving trip right after New Year's one year. It was fun. Need to avoid the date of a football game because of price markups.

We enjoyed visiting Nashville during summer. I think that visit would have been just as fun in winter.

We did DC once, lol.

How about Southern California if you can get cheap airfares at the last minute?

We have been to San Diego, LA and SFO.

Is Las Vegas fun for teens? Never been there.

If you’re not aiming for warm weather, Chicago. It’s a great city and if you’ve never been, it’s a fun one.

From DC we did a road trip to Pittsburgh, South Bend/Notre Dame, and then Chicago for three days, and then drove back through Michigan and pa again, but you could see lots of the upper Midwest that way, and break up the drive however you want. Also, it doesn’t have to be prohibitively expensive.

We go to Vegas during Christmas week every year with our teen. If you leave prior to NYE, it’s not as crowded. We eat good food, see shows, and explore different attractions.
