Where do you store your bananas?

Do you keep them in a bowl? With other fruit? On the counter? I am a minimalist and don't like extra things on the counters, but never happy with where we put them.

Yes, Yes and Yes

In the counter like a normal person.

I have a hanging three tier fruit basket

I keep them in the refrigerator (assuming they’re not green still). They last longer that way.

One tier fruit basket with a hanger for bananas. They last longer hanging, and my husband eats one every day.

Minimalism only works if you still permit yourself to have quick and access to the items you use. No reason to put fruit in the fridge or a drawer.

Ugh, bananas get so mealy in the fridge!

We have a fruit bowl that has a little hanger up top of it from which to hang a bunch of bananas.

We put our bananas in a pretty bowl on the dining room table. I buy a new bunch twice a week.

I put bananas in a wire basket on the kitchen counter.

On top of the microwave until I want to eat one, then in the fridge to get it cold.

I have a small, two-tier black metal basket that sits on the counter flat against the wall. I put bananas in the bottom tier.
