| My pork shoulder is oozing this blackish gray stuff in my crock pot...is this normal or do I have bad meat? |
| normal |
| gross |
Normal for slow-cooked zombie meat.
|
It is, after all, the shoulder of a greasy, filth eating creature (pigs typically eat their own fecal matter mixed with the ground dried remains of other pigs) slowly being heated in a broth of its own bodily fluids. But hey, L'Chaim. Enjoy. |
LOL! This is why I both don't usually cook pork or beef at home and am dubious about using the crock pot, as I would also be totally unsure about how to tell whether it's normal or not. |
| yuck! |
| that would be the cooked blood. did you think that your meat had no blood? |
| Vomit. |
Nice. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth? |
| So, Op. How was dinner? |
