Tip for tow truck driver?

Anonymous
I hope not to start a war with this post, but I’ve got a tow truck coming in a few hours and could use advice on whether/how much to tip.

Some details: this is not an emergency, and the car is parked right in front of my house. The driver (who is NOT the business owner), will be towing it 2 miles to the body shop and handing over the key. No idea how much the towing charge is since my insurance is being billed directly.

Thanks for any advice!

None. Late at night on the side of a highway is a different story

I always tip for a row. I’d say $20.

One f my kids works as a tow truck driver. The pay sucks and you only get paid for your runs even though they have to be there for full shifts. They’d love a tip.

Never heard of this.
If you feel our you want to I think $20 is fine.
