where to get decent egg nog?

ideally in a slightly larger volume than 1 quart, which is what i'm seeing in my local grocery store.

Whole Foods has some from local dairies.

thank you for asking the important questions! So much egg nog is garbage and I would like to find one that doesn't have all the emulsifiers and seaweed, etc

South Mountain's is all dairy, less spiced than some.

Balducci’s or south mountain creamery (which is sold at moms and Harris teeter). We did a taste test once with all the balducci’s brands — they were all devious but some people like thicker, some like more nutmeg, etc. The thicker ones are better if you are spiking it with brandy. There is one at balducci’s I really like but I can’t think of the brand name—it’s better than SMC, sort of a lighter white color.

The Trader Joe’s stuff is weirdly disgusting. It’s all emulsifier. The plain grocery store brand is way better.

But the seaweed makes it a vegetable!
