| I made it Friday evening. I think it’s too late, husband says it’s ok. I’d like to save it if I can, but really not sure if it’s safe. |
| I wouldn’t. |
| Freeze it and let your husband eat it. I think it’s fine. Cooked beef in stew takes a while to go bad. |
| Let this beef between you go and move on. Don’t stew about it! |
| I would not. Can you finish it tomorrow? |
haha.. yes it's fine. I just froze a beef soup I made on Sunday. |
| I made beef stew Sunday. I plan to finish it tomorrow night. If you never hear from me again...you will know why. |
| It’ll be fine. Freeze it. |
| toss it |
|
You’re already worried about it. You can freeze it, but will you ever eat it, given your worry now?
For what it’s worth, I think it should go in the trash now. |
| As long as the stew has been in the fridge for the past 5 days and not reheated/cooled multiple times during that stretch, it's totally fine to freeze. Warm it up thoroughly after it's out of the freezer and you're golden. |
| Totally fine!!!! Bring it to a boil once more when you reheat it. People are neurotic. |
I'm pp who said it was totally fine to freeze it but I also have a rule about not keeping food that I know damn well I will not eat (restaurant leftovers I'm looking at you) just because I feel bad about wasting it. |

If it tastes fine yes. If it doesn’t no.
I usually try to freeze within 4 days but 5 is usually fine too. |
| My Sunday stew is warming on the stove right now. Smells delicious. I had to work in the office today so I love not cooking. |
