non-aerosol dry shampoo

Anonymous
LIving Proof's dry shampoo work really, really well for my hair. I love that it doesn't build up on my scalp and my hair looks shiny and clean, but I just can't stand breathing it in.

Any recs for something that works equally as well w/o the aerosol?

Yes! I’ve tried them all. The best one since the Fekkai one got discontinued (rip) is Klorane, specifically this one:

It has a great applicator bottle (you just squeeze out little puffs of powder) and a benign scent that fades quickly.

+1 for Klorane. I’ve also tried the Trader Joe’s dry shampoo— the applicator is decent, but the powder didn’t really help my hair.

OP here. Thank you! The Klorane looks great. Going to give it a try.

OP if it doesn’t work, I find that Oryza Satvia (rice starch) is the key ingredient that works for me. It’s in the living proof one, the Klorane one, and batiste. So if you don’t like the smell of the Klorane powder or something, that’s an ingredient you may want to look for.

Ro & co has a mist that is great. I got it at blue mercury

Aveda has one.

I use Drop Dead Gorgeous dry shampoo. Comes in a powder. I don't like inhaling aerosolized products.

I used to have an amazing one, I think it was called Cake? I'll look for it.

Comes in different tints in case you dont want bright white powder on your dark hair.

This one is my fave: https://mchel.co/products/day-after-brush?variant=40378672185424

I've heard great things about K18 as well.

Also, Trader Joes has a powder one but it is hard to find

+1 to both of these, they're my go-tos
