| My kids became obsessed with bananas and then quickly dropped them this past week. Isn’t it funny how that sometimes happens? Anyway, I suddenly have about 20 ripe bananas sitting on my counter that nobody is interested in eating. We have tons of frozen ones for smoothies and everybody is sick of banana bread. There’s a few in the freezer anyway. Any interesting recipes that use white bananas that are not just cut up for smoothies or banana bread? |

There are a few variations of banana bread, but also some interesting ideas. I'd be all over the banana beignets and banana s'mores. Isn't there also a pancake recipe that calls for banana, oats, and .... (butter? eggs? oil? I recall it being 3 ingredients but can't remember what the third one is) - you whizz everything together in a blender and fry it into pancakes. |
