Southampton Tour Experience?

| Does anyone have any personal experience with the Southampton Select tours for players selected from the Southampton cup tournament? Is it just a tourism trip, or is there a decent soccer angle to it? |

| There was no follow up from Southampton last year with kids who were supposed to have been invited based on their selection as "player of the match." It seems poorly organized at best. |

My kid gor the pin and certificate in all four games. I'm not sure anyone even took their name. It's soccer tourism at its worst, particularly for female players. Southampton has a non existent girls program. |

| Southampton is known for having an excellent youth development program. However, unless your kid is eligible for a British passport, and along with that, an extremely exceptional player, he's essentially just there for a camp. |
