I’ve never heard of her, Dr Janette Nesheiwat. I read that she was a regular Fox News contributor, so I guess it’s safe to assume another RWNJ.
I laughed at this segment of the article on her: Republicans have opposed efforts to treat gun violence as a public health issue, with House Republicans voting in 2023 to ban the Center for Disease Control from researching gun violence. Republicans have also pushed to prevent public health agencies from citing public health emergencies to pass gun control measures and has attempted to defund programs aimed at gun violence reduction. Jeez. These people are bona fide crazies. Guns came up in the article because she accidentally caused a gun to go off and kill her dad when she was young. |
DH is MD. Does not like this appointment. She went to medical school in the Caribbean, which is where students go who can't get into medical school in the US, so total bottom of the barrel. Her latest real work experience is managing a CityMD in NYC. |

Just another person who has appeared on Fox News. That is the only qualification necessary to be in Trump's cabinet.
We are so so so F-d. |
| Her nom was brought up before. I don't think anyone has cared about the Surgeon General since C. Everett Koop. |
Accidentally square in the head. |
She’s not fresh out of medical school so where she attended has little to do with this. She still completed a U.S. based raised and is double board certified in the U.S. which means she has met all the required U.S. standards to be a practicing and certified physician. He work and public health credentials since then is what should be scrutinized. |
| Look at her picture. That’s why Trump wants her. Disgusting. |
That is…super strange. Twilight zone |
| She’s also married to the NSA nominee Mike Waltz |
Bottom of the barrel sounds like she will fit right in with Dumpys other nominees. |
No, it's her sister who is married to Mike Waltz |
LOL, another Fox News bimbo. |
| She hawks dietary supplements. Perfect for the cabinet of grifters. |

Wow, the accident with her Dad seems so unfortunate. From Wikipedia:
In 1990, when she was 13, Nesheiwat accidentally knocked over a fishing tackle box and a handgun inside that had fallen with the tackle box discharged. The gun killed her father Ziad “Ben” Nesheiwat in what police described as a "freak accident." Janette Nesheiwat and her four siblings were subsequently raised by her mother Hayat Nesheiwat, a pediatric nurse. Janette Nesheiwat says her father's death and her mother motivated her to become a physician. |
She's not the only one selling or endorsing junk supplements: Kash Patel - Patel has been a pitchman for a variety of products marketed to Trump supporters. One dietary supplement he’s promoted claims to be a COVID vaccine ‘detoxification system' (they supposedly “reverse” the effects of Covid vaccines). Dr. Oz went before congress to justify his support for "magic" weight loss pills and eventually reached a $5.25 million deal in a false advertising class action accusing him of overstating the benefits of dietary supplements promising weight loss. Even Mike Huckabee starred in infomercials touting “amazing” dietary supplements that he claimed could “reverse” Type 2 diabetes. Am I missing anyone?
