Condensing work samples into one PDF Sheet

Anonymous
Hi,
I wan to condense two sheets of writing samples into one PDF sheet for the AAP submissions. What method do you use to do that? i am planning to combine the two pdf files for the two sheets into one PDF and then change the view to 'two page view' in the pdf file to show side by side view of the two pages. Just want to check if there is any better way to do this.
thanks.

Make a two page pdf, and print to pdf, select two sheets per page.

Not op. I didn’t know you could do this.

OP Here. So i did the two pages per sheet , and the pdf looks ok . but when i print out the content is shrunk and barely readable. Is that ok? since we are submitting an electronic version, will the school committee be using the electronic version or printing it out as well?

Our AART was very clear that everything should be easily legible

They are viewing it electronically

Pretty sure it was electronic version last year. I had 8 pages of writing condensed into 1. The kid got in so apparently the committee zoomed in to read it.

When you print 2x1, you need to change the page orientation to be landscape, so that two pages have space to be printed side by side.

I don't suggest submitting anything "barely readable".

I used screenshots and then laid them out in Canva to fit on two pages.

You should be able to email your AART a copy of what you plan to submit and ask if they think it will work.

For one of my kids I submitted 5 pages of very large 2nd grade handwriting condensed to 1 page and my AART assured me it was readable before I turned it in officially.

There's a reason they only want one page.
Don't try to cram in more.
