Xmas pjs for 12/14 boys

Anonymous
Help! My boys are 11 and 13. I’m struggling to find Xmas pjs and sweaters that are big enough. Men’s sizes are just too long on them. But they are outgrowing kids sizes. Ideally I would find plaid pj sets and some nice sweaters to wear for the holidays.

We are going with men’s small pjs, with pants that have elastic cuffs at ankles.

Selection will already be limited.

Look at Lands' End for sizes 14-18 Boys. Get red, green, or navy cotton long sleeve t-shirts and coordinate them with plaid or holiday themed flannel pajama pants or fleece lounge pants.

Other possibilities (in-store): Sporting goods stores that sell fleece lounge pants, Walmart, JC Penneys, Kohls. The cheap stores are more likely to have something.

My two boys liked our holiday kid pajama tradition. I started checking Lands End in August after they outgrew Carters around Size 12.

Op here. Thanks! I fear I’ve waited too long. My boys still enjoy the tradition.

I ordered Burt’s Bees men’s small for my 11 year old. I can update you tomorrow when he tries it on.

That would be great, thank you!

Old Navy adult unisex PJs fit my 13 yr old thin 5'4 son so suprised they wouldn't fit your sons. They go through XXL in kids (14/16) and start at XS in mens

Also - my boys like the Vineyard Vines half zip sweaters. Boys size up to 18.

Hollister is also great for this age. Mens/Teen XS.

In general this is a tough stage for clothes. Boys XL/XXL stuff Is either too small or too big in the waist (my son isn’t thin FWIW) and men’s stuff is too long even for a kid who is 5’3” depending on body shape

Op here. This is exactly the problem I’m having.

Buy the men’s ones that are a little long. A growth spurt is upon you and overnight they will be taller.
