Any teachers actually go to this "optional" Saturday PD? Was it good? Was it useful?

Given that the photo shows Anthony Alston speaking, I can't imagine that it was. But I'm willing to be wrong.

Same people over and over again. It’s the equity office just trying to justify its existence since teachers in classrooms have no idea what they do other than create overly repetitious trainings verging on preaching rather than instruction. Teachers are getting very jaded by the lack of concrete action and the justification of lowering standards in the name of equity. Equity is barely mentioned in my school now since it seems to have lost any relatable meaning.

MCPS could provide some actual equity by assigning their equity personnel to teach in schools thereby lowering some classroom sizes.
