Curaçao Recommendations

I booked a trip to Curaçao for my family of 5 for August 2025. Specifically picked the destination because it’s outside of the hurricane area and we’ve never been.

Kids will be 21, 19, and 16. Any recommendations for excursions, activities, restaurants, etc

Jan thiel area is nice.
I recommend royal sea aquarium resort. Close to the action but quiet.
Get a car and check all the beaches.
The ostrich farm was a fun excursion and you can ride an ostrich if desired.
Downtown is also fun shopping eating drinking area.

We were only there for a day on a cruise. We rented a car and hit some fun spots:
- Shete Boka National Park (especially the Boka Pistol)
- Cliff-jumping at Playa Forti (my teens' favorite)
- Watching the flamingos at the salt flats
- Watching the turtles and pelicans at Playa Piskado (we did not snorkel here since we had just snorkeled at Bonaire the previous day -- which was amazing)
- Wandering through downtown Curacao (beautiful colors, floating market and bridge)
