Millie's Bar Scene

Anonymous
My friend is newly divorced after a 20-year marriage, and would like to hit a few bars. I heard Millie's draws a 40+ crowd. Is that true later in the evenings like 9pm? I see their bar side is open until midnight on weekends.

I offered to join them, but I really have no clue where to go as I'm not in the market for meeting new people to date!

"A 3% surcharge is included on all in-house dining guest checks to help offset increased labor costs due to Initiative 82.
This charge is not a gratuity paid to any staff member."

Hard pass.

Milfies! I don’t know but really, they need to just go on the apps like a normal person.

Yes it seems it is too expensive for you.

+1 Especially when intending to loiter at the bar for hours.

Ha. The prices are cheap.

No. I was referring to the "Initiative 82" charge, the passive aggressive alternative to raising prices. The hint you missed was the fact that I quoted the language.

So you don’t have any useful info for OP?

No. I don't. Nor should I. Not providing useful information isn't an unusual occurrence if you are familiar with internet forums.

OP here. There's numerous threads on here about how bad the apps are, and my friend has done a brief look already and only seems to attract crypto scammers.

We don't care about any bar charges for proposition 82 or whatever. Just asking if there's a decent scene there at the bar in the evenings or not.

Milfies for the win. I can think of much worse places to roll the dice.

Agree it's a fun vibe. Earlier in the evening it's lots of families. later you'll have groups of women, certainly some (though probably the minority) are single.
