Lower level AAU middle school teams

My child played rec for two years and is now on a select team. Last year, we didn’t know that we had to attend every tryout. My child went to a few tryouts (1 of 2 days) and did not make a team.
DS is just trying to make his FCPS high school team, not trying or expecting to play anything more than that. Can you recommend the lowest/lower level AAU teams? We live in VA. Anywhere in Fairfax county or Arlington would work for us. |

Talk to the parents on current team and see where theirs sons play.
St. James is a good starting point. Ask there. |

| Are you doing research for spring? He should be prioritzing his county team. |
