| Please share. I hate our toaster so much. I’m willing to spend good money on the most quality, perfect toaster ever. Thanks! |
| No one has a good toaster? |
| Toaster or Toaster oven? |
I use my broiler. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Probably try consumer reports? |
| Breville or Dualit. I had a two-slice Breville for 10+ years that I loved, but needed to upgrade to a four slice and theirs didn’t face the right way for what I needed for my counter. I got a Dualit instead and have been happy with it for the last 7 years or so. |
| Don't know if it is the best ever, but I like my Smeg toaster. It works well and I like the retro look of it |
| Please refer to the other thread about toasters. Maybe the OP can share the model their kid wanted to get. |
|
I love my Breville.

+1. I don't know if it is the "best" since I make toast maybe 3x a month, but I use my Breville almost daily. It seems to toast fine? |
| Get a toaster oven instead |
| I have a GE toaster that I use daily. No complaints. Probably got it at target? |
I do, and I know it's a good toaster because it's at least 20 years old and keeps chugging along. But you can't buy this model any longer, so .... |
| My "Amazon Basics 2 Slice Toaster with 6 Browning Settings" has been going strong in 6 months of daily use so far. Before that, my "Professional Series" from Bed Bath and Beyond (they still have it) worked for a few years until one of the bread guides got stuck. In the past I've owned brand-name toasters that have suffered early failures. |

| Breville is crap, do not get that. First one we got toasted unevenly, we exchanged it within the return period, new one worked for a while but still toasts unevenly. Burns toast around the edges. |
