Anyone use Lume whole body deodorant?

Anonymous
Not sure if this really related to beauty, but not sure where else to post this.

I was thinking about buying this, and plan on using it down under, among other areas. Not sure if I should get the cream type or the one that comes in a bar like traditional deodorant.

Also, it seems a bit gimmicky, is this really any more effective than just rubbing traditional deodorant on other parts of your body?

I bought the cream for a similar reason. I don't like the smell - very metallic. I plan to try another brand when I finish the tube.

What scent did you get?

Ew. If you smell that bad all the time, look into your diet and/or see at Dr. It's not normal to need a whole bidy deoderant, despite what adverts tell you.

No one needs whole body deodorant, it's just companies trying to sell you more unnecessary products

I don't understand the point of trying to shame OP or anyone else. Someone needs to talk to you like I would my 4 and 6yos: "Bodies are all different and work in different ways."

I've been tempted to try Lume, but usually use an unmedicated "feminine" powder like Vagisil because there's no talc. I use a little powder under my large breasts, mid-upper butt crack, and sometimes in the skin fold of my c-section scars if I anticipate getting sweaty that day.

She's just young and stupid.

Like she can't even imagine a day she will need to staple her bladder up to keep it from falling out of her body.

Lume works well for me. I like the lavender scent.

Also, nothing to do with "different bodies"..... but doesn't everyone smell in their privates when they get really sweaty all over? Like if you do an intense spin class, who doesn't stink a bit in their privates? Like armpits, your pubic hair ensures that you produce a lot of sweat and smell.

So I actually think lume whole body is not an insane idea, but is shaming women for another thing that is totally normal.

This. I just rub my regular old Secret between my thighs to avoid chafing, or around my sports bra before runs sometimes.

In menopause you can be sitting still and you can break out into a full sweat. Most people are going to shower after a workout but how do you deal with full on sweating out of the blue.

Also, I NEVER had boob sweat like I do as a 50 yo person, what even is that. It's wild and NO i'm not dealing with sagging boobs I'm talking about my bra just soaking.

I use it and I love it. I like that it's aluminum-free but still works to prevent smell. None of the other aluminum-free options worked for me. I put in around the privates too because just like armpits that is where I sweat the most.

No judgment but this sounds like BV. You should try boric acid suppositories. They have changed my life! I forever had yeast infections but they also changed the smell to pleasant.

I am the one that uses Lumi down there and it most certainly it's BV. It's just good old sweat. I'm not overweight or in menopause. I just sweat a lot. I'd rather not stink if it's all the same to you.
