Just curious, how much turnover was there on Coppermine when they joined the GA

Don't want to discuss if they deserved it or not, just wondering what kind of turnover was there on the team when they joined. Guessing their might have been 1 or 2 players that left because they didnt want the travel, but how many were pushed out because "better" players joined the team just because of the badge? There was probably more movement on U12-U14, so did a bunch of girls get replaced by new players?

5 of the U14 players left. 4 went to another GA/ECNL team.

did they leave on their own or were they asked to leave? Seems if they went to GA/ECNL they left on their own

I only know 3 of the 5 left on their own. I don't know why the other 2 left. I am guessing 1 was cut and the other was on their own.

They knew they were going to get cut so they 'left on their own'.

For what it's worth, SYC joined GA last year and it attracted a lot of outside of the club players to come to the tryouts. Some teams did bring in different players from multiple different clubs and 4-5 players were displaced on some teams as a result of it. A few players did leave and a few players were bumped down to a lower level team.

Obviously, there would be turnovers.

For Coppermine tryouts, there were lots of girls for 2012 and not too many for 2011. The 2011 girls have 2 parent coaches, which could be a reason for lower turnout.
