Heartburn

Anonymous
I haven't had heartburn in years, but all of a sudden have had it almost constantly for a week. Ugh. Nothing seems to have changed in my diet or stress level. I've tried Zantac, which works for a little while, but then it's back. Is this something I should head to the doctor for or do most people just deal with it on their own?

Yes, go to the doctor. Probably nothing, but if left untreated can do a lot of damage to your esophegus which could lead to cancer later on down the line.

See if they will approve an endoscopy, that will tell them if anything serious is going on.

try a broad-spectrum digestive enzyme when you eat. This always helps for me and my kids. You can find them at Walmart or any HFS.
