For key who went through the Gunston bilingual program but go to W&L, what year do they typically take AP Spanish?

Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I thought only Wakefield has the bilingual program - or is that different from the secondary immersion program?
Nevertheless, I believe AP Spanish is junior year at Wakefield.

If a kid is in immersion at Wakefield, most take AP Spanish lang in 10th & AP Spanish lit in 11th.

If not in immersion (or Spanish for fluent speakers), I think kids usually take at least through Spanish IV before taking AP. So probably junior year for your child? I would ask the school counselor.

My understanding is that they take a placement class in 8th grade and those with a high level of fluency take AP Spanish language in 9th. Those with a moderate level of fluency take Spanish language 9 in 9th and AP Spanish language in 10th.

My kid took Spanish for Fluent Speakers in 9th (he's not a native Spanish speaker), then AP Spanish Language in 10th, then IB HL Spanish in 11th and 12th
