President’s Day trip with 14-year-old boy

Looking for fun destinations for a birthday trip over the President’s Day four-day weekend for my 14-year-old son and me (mom). He’s a very easygoing traveler and likes food, music, art, sports, and outdoor activities. Warmer weather would be a plus.

No, it will be fine. You might be able to catch some parades too.

Agree with New Orleans - great food, plenty of sports, and other things to do. Definitely take an alligator air boat tour.
