Brunch near Tyson's- but not IN the mall

Anonymous
I'm looking to meet a friend tomorrow for brunch or lunch near Tyson's but don't want to deal with the traffic and parking right in the mall. I will be coming from Dulles and she will be coming from Vienna. We are looking for a place with yummy food, quiet enough to talk, and not so busy so we can relax and not deal with the crazy scene.

Why don’t you meet in Reston? Does not make sense for you to pass vienna to go to Tysons when your friend in Vienna is just as close to Reston as it’s gonna take them to get to Tyson’s in all the traffic. It’s a madhouse on all the roads, not just at the mall entrance.

This is the advice I need! I don't know the area at all- I am a Marylander and just dropping off family at the airport. Tyson's is always just my default Virginia location, lol. Is there anywhere in Reston you'd recommend?

Sixty Vines
Cafe Sano
Jackson’s (this is part of the Sweetwater/Carlisle chains, so not particularly quiet, but you can stay for a long while to chat)
Founding Farmers Reston

Don’t go to founding farmers. Brunch is poor and it’s very noisy.

Silver Diner.

Amma Vegetarian Kitchen in Vienna would make for a nice casual lunch
