iPhone 12 Pro vs 13

I know, I'm not cutting edge. All iphones seem the same to me. Currently on an iPhone 12 Pro 256Gb and just bought a new iPhone 13 (128GB) for $250 with the intent to replace my travel phone (XR - which has a dedicated SIM for a country I visit most and do banking in so need that SIM).

My 12 Pro is 4 years old and the battery is in poor shape. I have the option of replacing the battery ($95) or just switching to the iPhone 13 (which will give me at least another 3 years). Is the switch worth it? How much would I get for a pristine condition 256gb 12 Pro with a dying battery? $250? $200? My XR will likely get me $100, I suppose and offset the cost of the battery.. Thoughts?
