Everyone has an opinion on the nicest hotel. Is it the Ritz Carlton?
|
Ritz or Four Seasons.
But what are your plans? Where do you plan to go? Do you want to walk anywhere? |
Thanks PP! This is a first time,” luxury” type getaway in March. The prices seem lower at both hotels in that date range and fall into my affordable range for a week’s stay. I’d like to be able to walk rather than drive and just feel “fancy” on my little week long escape from the DMV. |
Ritz |
four seasons. don’t go to the ritz, there’s really no comparison.
|
I think the Four Seasons has better beds, fwiw.
Google map the locations and make a decision. Either one will be lovely. |
+1 and this is true across the board. Any place you can use points does not compare to a Four Seasons or Peninsula. |
We recently stayed here and it was fabulous! The bar is magnificent too!

It will be very cold in march |
Thank you for the recommendation. We just booked there for January. Did you book for the breakfast? |
Sorry, I should have mentioned I am a NP and thank you OP for starting the thread. |
Four seasons |
PP here- no we didn't book for the breakfast but wish we had! The drinks in the bar were very unique. |
We also stayed here and loved it - and agree that the bar is great! |
Ritz and Four Seasons are great but not in the Old Town -- something to keep in mind. They will, however, have easy access to the underground city. |
