ISO new company for spices

Anonymous
We cook A LOT. And take pride in our cooking. But I’m tired of political spice companies. I’m Tired of the emails. I don’t want anxiety with my cooking. I just want rich spices. Yes I can delete the emails but I’m just tired of it. I just want my cooking to be about love for my family; good, flavorful food; and something I enjoy doing.

Any recommendations? Thank you!

This sounds like a YOU problem, not a spice problem. Anxiety of spices? Get a grip.

You can always choose not to get the emails and only buy the products.

This is a rich person problem. Most of us buy our spices at the grocery store. Giant doesn’t email you about last week’s grocery run….

Stay classy DCUM. Always so helpful. This place never fails.

The spice house is owned by a sibling of the penzey’s owner. They don’t send political emails.

We are trying to help. If you like the spices but not the emails and can't come up with a solution on your own, what are we supposed to say, especially when you're so easily upset?

If OP had just asked for alternatives to penzeys they would have gotten that. But when OP is all I can’t buy penzeys because of the emails I don’t think it’s unreasonable to say the answer is unsubscribing

Penzey’s is great at marketing but their spices aren’t the only game in town. Burlap and Barrel is good. Spice House is owned by Bill Penzey’s sister. They have great products without the preaching.

So what you're saying is that you don't like Penzey's.

These might be too specific for your needs, but we also buy from NY Shouk and Spicewalla. I have heard good things about The Spice House, but I have not ordered from them before.

Sorry I spelled that incorrectly - NY Shuk - https://www.nyshuk.com

I’m 8:14 and was trying to be helpful.

Personally, I like McCormick. They are a local company and make many of their spices right here in Maryland.
