Recommend your Work at Home Phone please!

I work from the house and spend a lot of time on the phone in conference calls. I need a new phone that has a great speakerphone capability and of course a handy mute button for kid noise. Also one that might be portable extention (with mute) so i can answer the door too. My current speaker phone I have to practically stick my face into the phone to be clearly heard. The main phone needs to be plugged into the wall directly (not rechargeable). I don't need a answering system on it. Thanks!

Do you spend a lot of your conference calls needing to mute kid noise and answering the door? When I worked at home I had a Cisco brand phone because I have VoIP, it seemed to work well and had a lot of functions.

I just bought this system for the same purpose and love it. All corless phones have the same mute and speakerphone functions..also available at bestbuy I think.
