Kid is starting college in Fall 2025. Can you please confirm if we should be filling Fafsa 2024-2025, or 2025-2026? And which years tax returns are required?

You’d fill out the FAFSA for the school year 25-26. The form is much shorter now because you will give permission for them to access your tax return from the IRS. They will pull in for from your 2023 tax return.
